Photography 101, Day 1: What does home look like?

Ever since I was a little kitten, my carrier has been a big part of my life.  It usually sits under the end table in the TV room, and I walk past it every day. I know that whenever the humans pull it out and open the door that it means they’re going somewhere and taking me with them, so I’ll scoot right in. They’ve put a nice soft blanket inside and a couple of toys for me.  If they take too long, I’ll sit in it with the door open while I wait for them to finish getting ready…hurry up, let’s go!

I went to the vet in it one time to get a checkup, and another time I went to the pet store for my lifejacket fitting. I’ve been to the boat many times in it, and once to the beach. I even took a road trip in it one weekend to my human’s cabin many hours away. My carrier is my home away from home and where ever it is, I feel safe in it. It’s my safe haven. A constant in a confusing and strange world, it’s a little more secure than a paper bag and cardboard box. =^,,^=

  1. If we went any place other than the vet we wouldn’t mind the PTU. You look absolutely adorable lounging half in and out of your PTU. It does look a little snug, however. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
